\nWith the frosty temperatures that are currently accompanying us, it is all the more pleasing when a fresh musical breeze blows in and lifts our spirits. This is exactly what The Thinkers, a Filipino band, are offering with their new single and other surprises to ring in the new year.
\nFounded in October 2022, the band may still be newcomers, but members Anthony (drums, vocals) and Troy (main vocals, guitar) are no strangers. Both are deeply rooted in the underground scene and have pursued their own projects there for years. Now they bring their collective experience to The Thinkers and present a rousing mix of rock and punk.<\/p>\n

Inspired by legends such as the Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, the Beatles and Oasis, The Thinkers create their own interpretation of the rock genre. Their sound is deliberately raw - sometimes it needs nothing more than a guitar, a drum kit and a good idea. This minimalism, paired with distinctive vocals, is impressively evident in songs like \u201cCome To Me\u201d and their latest track \u201cCoffee Song\u201d. Both pieces are characterized by their expressiveness. Her single \u201cLet's Go!\u201d is also particularly recommended, with its varied sounds and a lightness that simply spreads a good mood. It is a musical throwback to the bands they love, without losing their own touch.<\/p>\n

With a new single due to be released in February, fans can look forward to more material from The Thinkers. And who knows, maybe even an entire album is in the wings?<\/p>\n
