It's a striking foretaste of the reinvented album, bringing to life the rousing, fast-paced and, for its time, ambitious collection of superbly crafted and realized songs.

Following the release, Bruce Dickinson breaks out with his 2024 studio album "The Mandrake Project" and a setlist that spans his entire solo career, for his first extensive solo tour of North America in almost 30 years.

Album tracklist
1st Cyclops
2nd Hell No
3. gods of war
4. 1000 Points of Light
5 Laughing in the Hiding Bush
6. change of heart
7. shoot all the clowns
8. fire
9th Sacred Cowboys
10. tears of the dragon
11 Gods of War (Live in the Studio)*
12. The original album featured a number of Dickinson's classics and live favorites, including the singles "Tears Of The Dragon" and "Shoot All The Clowns", as well as the popular epic "Laughing In The Hiding Bush", which was also the original title of the record.

Yet despite the positive reception it received at the time, it never quite lived up to Dickinson's original vision, which was even more expansive in scope and ambition. With the opportunity to resurrect his solo catalog - and in light of the release of Dickinson's highly acclaimed album "The Mandrake Project" in 2024 - the brand new, partially re-recorded, remixed and remastered version of the album, now titled "More Balls To Picasso", becomes a fresh and timely release.

Bruce Dickinson comments: "While mixing my entire catalog in Dolby Atmos, I had a great desire to reinvent the record. So adding more 'balls' to 'Balls ...' was a project of the heart. Of course we beefed up the guitars - with the help of our 'Swedish shredder' Philip Naslund - and we also added some really nice work by Adassi Addasi on 'Tears ...'. Brazilian composer friend Antonio Teoli brought in some stunning orchestral arrangements, and added indigenous instruments from the Amazon (which he recorded himself when he lived there!) as a particularly unique contribution at the beginning of 'Gods Of War'.
'Shoot All The Clowns' is accompanied by a horn section from Berklee College of Music, and the entire record was mixed by Brendan Duffey (who worked on 'The Mandrake Project') - in exchange for Shay Baby, the original father of the album."

In addition, "More Balls To Picasso" contains two previously unreleased live tracks from the studio - "Gods of War" and "Shoot All the Clowns". The album will be available from July 25, 2025 as a splatter vinyl double album and as a CD album with tri-panel digisleeve.

THE MANDRAKE PROJECT NORTH AMERICA TOUR
Fri, Aug 22 Anaheim, CA House of Blues
Sat, Aug 23 Las Vegas, NV House of Blues
Mon, Aug 25 Phoenix, AZ Marquee Theatre
Tue, Aug 26 Albuquerque, NM Revel
Thu, Aug 28 Houston, TX House of Blues
Fri, Aug 29 Dallas, TX House of Blues
Sun, Aug 31 Pryor, OK Rocklahoma*
Tue, Sept 2 New Orleans, LA House of Blues
Thu, Sept 4 Fort Lauderdale, FL Revolution
Sun, Sept 7 Sao Paulo, Brazil The Town*
Wed, Sept 10 Brooklyn, NY Brooklyn Paramount
Thu, Sept 11 Boston, MA House of Blues
Sat, Sept 13 Pittsburgh, PA Stage AE
Sun, Sept 14 Silver Spring, MD Fillmore Silver Spring
Tue, Sept 16 Toronto, ON HISTORY
Thu, Sept 18 Montreal, QC MTELUS
Sun, Sept 21 Louisville, KY Louder Than Life*
Tue, Sept 23 Philadelphia, PA The Fillmore
Thu, Sept 25 Detroit, MI The Fillmore
Sat, Sept 27 Chicago, IL Riviera Theatre
Sun, Sept 28 Minneapolis, MN Uptown
Tue, Sept 30 Denver, CO Summit Music Hall
Fri, Oct 3 Sacramento, CA Aftershock*
Sun, Oct 5 Los Angeles, CA The Wiltern

*Festival dates

Information about the tickets is available HERE.

Press release: CMM GmbH

Ahead of the release of the remastered version of Bruce Dickinson's classic 1994 album, now titled "More Balls To Picasso", the...

[749,264

post-9568","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bruce-dickinson","category-news
["GET
