BOBfest! 2025: A festival for metal legends, music fans and more

Attention metal and rock fans: Next summer, Mönchengladbach will once again become a place of pilgrimage for music enthusiasts when the BOBfest! enters its second round. After last year's brilliant start, the next edition also promises to be an unforgettable experience - a day that will make every music fan's heart beat faster.

BOBfest! not only celebrates the beginnings of metal, but also celebrates an entire culture that goes far beyond its musical roots. The organisers, RADIO BOB!, have spared neither effort nor legends: back in 2024, artists such as Fury In The Slaughterhouse, Mando Diao, Takida, The Subways, Deine Cousine and Plexiphones created an exuberant atmosphere and a cross-genre mix that delighted fans of all styles.

In 2025, the festival will once again take place in the tradition-steeped SparkassenPark, which has already hosted the likes of Imagine Dragons, Guns N' Roses and Elton John. As the largest hockey stadium in Europe, the open-air location not only offers perfect acoustics, but also a unique festival experience. Visitors can also look forward to a wide range of culinary delights, a merchandise mile and activities organised by Germany's biggest rock radio station.

The line-up is already a real highlight: alongside the energetic The New Roses and cult rockers Ugly Kid Joe , the headliner will be none other than Alice Cooper. With his unique stage show and a musical legacy that has shaped generations, he is likely to be the highlight of the evening. But that's not all: three more acts have been announced - and expectations could hardly be higher.

Tickets have already gone on sale and there are both seated and standing places available. In view of this line-up, it is advisable to grab your tickets quickly. Demand is likely to be high, because nobody wants to miss an event like this.
