The Murder Capital unveil new single "The Fall" this Friday

Today I'm not swinging my hammer, but a musical sword to tell you about a band that strikes just as powerfully: The Murder Capital. Get ready, because there are some interesting facts, a look at the new single "The Fall" and, of course, the highly anticipated tour dates. So prick up your ears - and maybe your helmet too.

The band from legendary Dublin found their way into the world of music in 2018. Their line-up consists of band members James McGovern (vocals), Damien Tuit (guitar), Gabriel Paschal Blake (bass) and Diarmuid Brennan (drums). Their style can be clearly categorized as post-punk, which they perform with great passion and precision.

On Friday, the band will release the first forerunner for their album "Blindness", which will be released on February 21. The new single "The Fall" is characterized by an impressive harmony: Steady drum beats, the high notes of the guitar and the powerful voice of James McGovern merge into an expressive soundscape. The build-up at the end of the song in particular creates an impressive tension that gets right under your skin. The song ends with a chorus that gets under your skin and fuels anticipation for their new work.
