Angel Du$t veröffentlichen neuestes Werk „Bigger House“
Hi and welcome to Lila's review!
It's been a year since the guys from Angel Du$t musically let hear from them. Fortunately, since July there is now finally again supply in the form of their latest EP "Bigger House"which we will present to you today.
Formed in beautiful Maryland, Baltimore in 2013, the band was formed from members of Gymnastics styles and Trapped Under Ice. The five-piece band, consisting of Justice Tripp (vocals), Daniel Fang (Percussion), Pat McCrory (Guitar/Singer), Brendan Yates (guitar/vocals) and lastly Jeff Caffey (bass), took their cue from their origins in punk rock in their debut album, but gradually committed themselves to a softer version of punk, somewhat reminiscent of a mix of older Artic Monkey Albums with a combination of Dirty Heads Acoustic panel "Home: Phantoms of Summer: The Accoustic Session" reminds. The songs have become longer, the music softer, and it seems as though Angel Du$t found their very own sound.
Angel Du$t hit with their now unconventional style and at the same time very modern sound, the nerve of today and combine indie, rock with pop and light punk to a mixture that should definitely also run on the radio. They combine the feeling of freedom with road trip vibes and make you remember the last summer, which we miss so much here in Germany this year. This mood is also picked up on their new record, which spans just under seven songs and is underlined by their very melodic, dynamic sound. Already three songs have been released under the EP "Lil House" released a year earlier and are now joined by two more and two remix to "Never Ending Game" complements. The disc already brings a good mood from the first song, is catchy and certainly sounds even better live. In any case, we would be happy to see the guys maybe also live soon.
Commenting on her new work Justice as follows: "Wrote these songs and they are pimp and chill at the same time. Rob Schnapf is my uncle now and Shlohmo was kind enough to jump behind the turntables for 'Love Is The Greatest' like DJ Lethal. I hope you guys break the pit down with this one."
For all those who want to escape from everyday life or want to switch off, we recommend in any case times in "Bigger House" to listen in. All others can of course also times Angel Du$t Take a breath 😉
