Best Off: Maraton show excerpts from their last online concert
Hi and welcome to Lila's news!
In the summer of last year, the newcomer band Maraton their first online concert and can now look forward to exciting excerpts from it, which were recorded by fans of the band during the live stream.
Necessity is the mother of invention and so the cooperation with Vi Er Live, Oslo Audio and Under My Wing to an online live concert that left nothing to be desired: The different colors and the melodic as well as hard sound of Maraton brought a concert atmosphere into the living room at home that we all miss so incredibly. Maraton combines elements of prog, pop and rock in their sound, creating their own style that ranges from dynamic guitar riffs to spherical sounds. They go their own way, but some of the songs remind us of "Almost Human" on Nothing But Thieves. With more than 1.5 million streams on all platforms, was Maraton the most streamed prog debut in Norway. Furthermore, they were the only band from their home country to make it onto the Roskilde Festival It should be mentioned that they had only just released one single at the time.
We really hope to hear more from them and will definitely keep you up to date if the guys decide to play in Germany.
