This is Black Veil Brides
Heya and welcome to Lila's review!
It's winter. The days are shorter and no one likes to go out in this weather anymore. Since being alone at home only seems to be fun for "Kevin", the editorial team has decided to do something about the boredom that arises.
We introduce! Black Veil Brides or BVB for short as well as the soccer club. The crew comes from the beautiful America and was founded by Andrew Biersack and a few other members, who are not part of the band anymore. The current lineup consists of Andy (vocalist), Jinxx (rhythm guitar), Jake (lead guitar), CC (drummer), Ashley (bass). Our studio did a little research for you to tell exactly what style of music the band plays. Since the statements about it are quite wide, we assume that it is a mixture of Post-Hardcore -/Metalcore.
The lyrics of the band mostly refer to personal experiences or everyday situations that inspired the band. Black Veil Brides means something like "black veil brides" according to Ashley this means the women who wanted to become nuns in the Middle Ages and have given themselves completely to God. So they made peace with everything. But there is more behind BVB than just any nuns. According to Andy, the band was founded to bring people who felt like outsiders to each other through music.
The guys released four albums and two EPs so far. With songs like "Fallen Angel" (which incidentally landed on the 2nd place of the WGRD in the category: "Favorite Listener Band of The Year") the guys built up their fan base. Further awards like the "Band of the Year Award" of the ATP or the award for "Best Guitarist" of (Jinxx and Jake) at the Golden God Awards of the Revolver Magazine's adorn the shelves of the guys in the meantime.
BVB already played on the biggest stages in the world and played among others on festivals like "Download" or "Rock am Ring". Black Veil Brides is a band that, in the opinion of our editors, will go far and sweeten one or two "boring" winter afternoons.
