This is what's behind the new album "In The Lights" by Cold Lands
Hi and welcome to Lila's review!
At the beginning of the year, the exceptional artist let Alexandre Martorano, also known as Cold Lands, with his latest singles "The Liars Prayer" and "My Visions" look forward to new music, of which we were already allowed to report in detail here in the magazine. Now follows on October 9, the long-awaited by fans of the musician associated album.
With "In The Light" published Alex his second album and follows up on the previous one. "Inside" on. In a total of twelve songs, the musician moves between his own faith and inner conflicts and manages to transport the feelings that arise to the listener. Harmonious, spherical and authentic, that's how it sounds. "In The Light" .
But there's much more to this album than the individual stories the Cold Lands told to the listener: The specially designated "Atmospheric Rock" Sound is the really special thing about this work and gives "In The Light" that certain something. In addition, he adds elements from the hardcore punk and melodic metal area and creates a sensitive, melancholic mood that drives through the marrow and leg. It feels like standing on the edge of a cliff and looking out at the vast sea whose horizon is barely visible. The unique landscape that Cold Lands which is also emphasized by the cover of the album, is literally tangible and is supported by songs like "Wasted In The Wind" underscored.
Cold Lands shows with "In The Light" not only a passionate as well as profound work, which was elaborated to the smallest detail, but also an insight into his musical skills. Especially with the upcoming autumn days, the new album is recommended as a fitting soundtrack from us. On October 9, the new work will then be released and makes itself in our opinion particularly well in the CD shelf. But there is then to the release of us still a small insight 😉
