Destinova, which was founded in 2006 in Leverkusen, is an alternative rock band with influences from many different genres, such as doom, indie and classic metal. Their name comes on the one hand from a character from a manga, on the other hand it is formed from the words "Destination" and "nova", which should stand for a new beginning.
