Einblick in das brandneue Album „Imposter Syndrome“ von Happy.

Hi and welcome to Lila's review!

Autumn has broken in and left our studio with the latest and greatest soundtracks for this time of year. While the leaves outside are coloring the ground, the rain won't stop pattering against the window and the minutes in the traffic jam to work turn into hours, we bring back the good mood to all of you. Our pick-me-up of the day "Imposter Syndrome" from Happy.

Happy. consists of singers Tate, drummer Sean as well as guitarist John and is a young, aspiring band on the direct way to conquer the big stages of this world. Influenced by the music from around the turn of the century, the band Happy. the challenge to combine styles like rock, punk and emo and to create their own sound. How does that sound? We were allowed to hear that on their new disc.

The new album "Imposter Syndrome" describes in detail as well as emotionally the highs and lows of life and translates them into a universal language that everyone understands: music. It tells about the most personal moments of each one, in which one is confronted with the so-called "impostor syndrome" ("Imposter Syndrome"), has come into contact and you found yourself in this role. Many different topics such as anxiety, depression, addiction to new friendships that are made or dreams that are realized, are treated in a total of ten songs. Together with producer Marc Mclusky, which among other things with bands like Weezer or Motion City Soundtrack they have created an honest as well as natural album, which can convince with an energetic, dynamic sound.

The anticipation for the new album is not only great among fans of the band, but has gripped us after the first listen so that we also do not want to miss a physical copy! To get you in the mood a little, we have you the brand new music video for "Background Noise" which appeared yesterday:

To this end, the boys told the following:

“’Background Noise‘ is a song about unconditional love for someone in your family through all of life’s hardships. With this year being so difficult, we created a visual that reminded us and fans of our loved ones and of great memories. Most of the video is us as children experiencing some of the best moments of our lives. The rest of the video is incredible submissions from fans of moments that brought them joy before the world flipped upside down. We hope this video gives fans a comforting nostalgia while also encouraging them to appreciate the relationships they’ve grown over their lives”.

My Immortals, save the date: October 30.
