In This Moment - The US metal institution released their new single and lyric video "Heretic" feat. Kim Dracula

For all those who appreciate intense music with a distinctive profile, the IN THIS MOMENT has always been a reliable force - her new single "Heretic (feat. Kim Dracula)" is as uncompromising as it is impressive. The track combines dark, modern soundscapes with brute vocals in an apocalyptic metal scenario. Lines like "I am not your pain or your remedy / I am not your faith or your vanity / I don't want your gold or your filth / That you give and you take" leave no doubt about the band's clear stance.

With "Heretic (feat. Kim Dracula)" is released today, July 16, as the first single from the GRAMMY®-nominated Los Angeles band's upcoming, as-yet-untitled ninth studio album, which will be released via their new label Better Noise Music will be released. An exact release date has not yet been set.

At the same time, the "Hell Hath No Fury" tour is back with Wargasm and Cat From D (July 16 - August 16). This is followed in the fall by the "Black Mass" Tour is back with Dayseeker, The Funeral Portrait and DED (as of September 18).

Since its foundation in 2005, the In This Moment under the care of the "mother" figure and front woman Maria Brink together with co-founder and lead guitarist Chris Howorth, bassist Travis Johnson, Guitarist Randy Weitzel and drummer Kent Diimmel have gathered a dedicated global fan base around them. With their unforgettable, otherworldly live productions, the band captivated millions and quietly and steadily became one of the most relevant rock greats of our time.

To date, the quintet has released the gold-winning album Blood(2012) received six gold and platinum single awards and with Black Widow (2014) and Ritual (2017) three times the top 25 of the Billboard 200have been scaled. In addition, there are more than two billion streams worldwide. Between sold-out headlining tours, the band has played in arenas side by side with Disturbed and has performed at countless festivals from Lollapalooza to Sonic Temple on stage. In the meantime, her seventh studio album was released, Mother  (Roadrunner Records), that was developed by her longtime companion Kevin Churko(Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch) was produced. While in Ritualalready resonates with a bluesy sound magic, breathes Mother the mantra of an unbreakable spell, heralded by the first single "The In-Between".

Published in 2022 In This Moment the EP Blood 1983 (BMG), a new interpretation for the tenth anniversary of Blood. The eighth studio album followed a year later GODMODE (BMG) with ten songs, including the powerful lead single "THE PURGE", an impressive cover version of Björk's "ARMY OF ME", the feature "DAMAGED" with Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills) and "I WOULD DIE FOR YOU", which is based on the soundtrack of John Wick: Chapter 4 .
