February 7, 2025
INHALER haben (am 17. Januar) einen weiteren Vorgeschmack auf ihr bevorstehendes neues Album mit der Veröffentlichung der starken neuen Single ‘A Question Of You’ gegeben. Hört den Song HERE.
Frontmann Elijah Hewson sagt über ‘A Question Of You’: „It's a love song to me about being honest with yourself if you want to be honest with someone, like, ‘I need to get my own shit in order so I can be with other people’. It's also a soulmate thing. The chorus really changed everything on that song.”.”
Recorded at RAK Studios in London and produced by Grammy and Brit Award winner Kid Harpoon, the new album “Open Wide” underpins Inhaler s status as the ultimate modern guitar band, for whom jubilant pop melodies, intricate grooves and rock'n'roll dynamics are not foreign words, but kindred spirits. The album's 13 songs refine the infectious, euphoric singalongs of the first two albums “It Won't Always Be Like This” and “Cuts & Bruises” into something complete, an album you can lose yourself in and where every track feels like it could be a big single. Sonically, it's an album where the band's fondness for T.Rex, early MGMT, Prince, Depeche Mode and others nestles alongside the indie and garage rock influences of their youth and is a majestic celebration of who Inhaler are and all they've done to get to this point. The album's release next month coincides with the band's biggest tour of the UK and Ireland to date, which includes two headline shows at the legendary Brixton Academy and a 20,000 capacity show in Dublin in May.
The entire tracklist of the album is:
- Eddie In The Darkness
- Billy (Yeah Yeah Yeah)
- Your House
- A Question of You
- Even Though
- Again
- Open Wide
- All I Got Is You
- Still Young
- The Charms
- X-Ray
- Concrete
- Little Things
Since launching their career in 2018, INHALER have been one of the biggest new names in guitar music and have achieved commercial success with storming chart positions. To date, they have sold over a quarter of a million records worldwide and achieved 500 million streams. Their debut album It Won't Always Be Like This reached #1 in the UK and Ireland, while their follow-up Cuts & Bruises 2023 topped the Irish charts and reached #2 in the UK. To keep this momentum going, band members and childhood friends Eli Hewson, Robert Keating, Ryan McMahon and Josh Jenkinson have spent the last few years on a relentless world tour supporting bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam, Harry Styles and Kings of Leon as well as playing their own shows, including a sell-out show in front of 13,000 people at Dublin 3Arena last year.
Inhaler will return to Germany for four concerts in May 2025.
