Europetour with Harm's Way and Basement

Knocked Loose

Knocked Loose, Harm's Way und Basement Konzert im Palladium, Köln 2025 - Konzertbericht von Starlight.rocks

In the name of Asgard, I greet you.

Hi, it's Thor here.

An evening full of powerful music awaited us at the Palladium in Cologne. The journey went smoothly and the wait for a huge spectacle began with the admission. We entered the hall punctually at 19:00, ready for a night that would reverberate for a long time to come.

Harm's Way kicked things off with a full power set. Their massive riffs and thundering drums ignited an inferno from the very first second. It was as if Odin himself had poured his wrath into these sounds. The audience didn't take long to respond:

Moshpits broke out, fists were raised in the air and the floor vibrated under the surging crowd. The energy grew with every song, and it was already clear that this was going to be an intense evening.

After the concentrated heaviness of Harm's Way, Basement took a different, but no less impressive direction. Their songs had a melancholy but powerful note that captivated the audience. 'Covet' in particular had an incredible effect: the entire hall sang along to the song at the top of their lungs, creating one of those unforgettable goosebump moments. It was a perfect balance between rousing energy and emotional depth.

Around 21:15, the time had finally come: Knocked Loose stormed the stage and left no room for restraint. The first notes caused the audience to explode - a huge “wall of death” divided the crowd before merging again in a thunderous clash. Crowdsurfers flew incessantly over the heads of the audience while a hurricane of rage and energy was unleashed on stage. It felt as if the hall itself was shaking, as if the gods of Asgard had heralded the finale of the ages.

The band was not only uncompromisingly tough, but also charming and demanding. Bryan Garris asked the audience who had already heard their new album.

As numerous hands went up, he added with a grin that everyone who had now revealed themselves would have to crowd for the next song. What followed was a veritable sea of bodies being carried through the crowd - a sight that reflected the pure devotion of the fans.

Don't Reach for Me” from the new album in particular triggered a veritable earthquake. But also songs such as “Counting Worms”, “Deep in the Willow” and “Suffocate” were also celebrated frenetically. The band was in absolute top form and carried the audience away with tireless intensity. For the grand finale, Bryan himself picked up the guitar and brought a powerful finale to a concert that was second to none.

After the concert, a new Knocked Loose shirt was of course a must - a worthy trophy after this brutal experience. The way home was just as relaxed as the journey there, but the impressions of the evening lingered for a long time.

Three bands, three outstanding performances and a hall full of fans who lived every second - this evening was more than just a concert. It was a demonstration of pure passion and unbridled energy. See you next time, my friends - and remember:
