Let's rock! Bad Touch unveil their brand new album "Kiss The Sky" + music video
Let's rock and welcome to Lila's review!
The sound that fills stadiums - UK Rockers Bad Touch present at the weekend their long-awaited brand new album "Kiss The Sky"which not only promises a concentrated load of rock'n'roll, but also brings the summer back into your living room!
Bad Touch was formed about ten years ago in the unassuming town of Dereham Norfolk in England. Back in their college days, the guys started making music together, playing the pubs in their area. It didn't take long for the five-piece band to gain more and more attention, even winning awards for their music like the "Marshall Ultimate Band Winners 2013". Their sound can be classified as classic rock music, with recurring elements of blues and hard rock. Especially fans of bands like The Struts or AC/DC are at Bad Touch in the best place to go off properly with!
With a total of 13 songs in the luggage, kidnap you Bad Touch in "Kiss The Sky" into a scenery from the 70s/ 80s. It feels like standing at the counter in a bar, enjoying your whiskey, while your eyes are on the stage, where the five guys are heating up the audience mightily. The air is austere, but the atmosphere is insane and it could be one of those nights you never forget in your life. Whether Bad Touch will play in such a bar in the future remains to be seen, we would definitely be there! With "Kiss The Sky" the band has reached a point where they are realizing their already existing potential and at the same time further exploiting it. It is an album that reflects the years of work of Bad Touch in all its details and shows their development, from a small band from Dereham Norfolk to a permanent fixture on the rock scene.
Energetic, raw and uneven, the new disc is characterized by the band's old familiar 100% buttkickin' rock sound, which fans will soon be able to enjoy in its total length of three quarters of an hour. Especially songs like the eponymous Title Song "Kiss The Sky" or "I Get High" reflect this sound as well as its looseness and are ideal for the first entry. The good piece was produced by Nick Brine in the legendary Rockfield Studios in Monmouth Wales and subsequently in the Abbey Road Studios completed in London. About the production tells singer Stevie:
"We are so excited about this recording. Just the fact that we got to record our songs at such a legendary venue like Rockfield really impressed us. I know it's cliché, but in our humble opinion, this is our most exciting recording to date, and we can't wait to get it in front of an audience.„
Bad Touches new album "Kiss The Sky" is modern, fresh and at the same time brings a piece of nostalgia of classic rock'n'roll. An insider tip that brings a good mood with it and that we can only recommend to all rock fans out there!
