Hi and welcome to Lila's review!

"Only with the fans does Rock am Ring become Rock am Ring".

One of the most traditional cult festivals in Germany finally returns after Corona break and welcomes thousands of fans of metal and rock music on the first weekend in June from 03 - 05 June. With a line-up that puts a big smile on your face when you read through it, the double festival (Rock am Ring and Rock im Park) makes up for the time lost due to the Corona pandemic. My Immortals, our insights into the event of the year 2022.

Since 1985 Rock am Ring offers a stage for national and international bands from various genres. Be it newcomers or stars from the history of the world, the festival has had them all and seems to have created a recipe for success with this combination, which attracts bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica or the doctors as well as artists like Jay-Z and David Bowie . At Rock am Ring , music history is written, told or carried on, which again gives up-and-coming artists the chance to realize themselves.

The festival with its very own character is an annual meeting place for thousands of visitors who have been attending the event again and again for decades. Rock am Ring grows with its base and puts the needs of the audience in the foreground. One of the things we appreciate about the event. With its sister festival Rock in the park , the all-round festival experience is complete and should definitely be visited by you when the opportunity arises.

Located at the Nürburgring in the Eifel, the festival will take place this year, again in the green. A change that there is this year nevertheless, is the organizer. With a new design as well as a more targeted dialogue with the audience, the festival will be adapted to today's times.

On top of a new website, the rebuilding of their social media channels, and an in-house app to intensify the festival experience, the focus here will also be on the audience. Visitors are the core of the event and should once again have a say in what the festival will be like this year. To a more sustainable gastronomy also visitor voices are heard the disadvantages and discrimination on event should contain. The experience character of the festival is thus intensified by the organizers, unified and additionally embroidered with many different highlights.
