Sober Truth enthüllen brandneues Album „Laissez Faire, Lucifer!“ zum 10. September + Unser „Album Of The Month“
Hi and welcome to Lila's review!
It's that time again: For the ideal start into September we want to give you a work that rightly deserves the designation "Album Of The Month" and will especially inspire those of you who are looking for an unconventional as well as distinctive sound.
Our "Album Of The Month": "Laissez Faire, Lucifer!" from Sober Truth.
Grown up and at home in the underground scene is Sober Truth has performed in many different venues in Germany as well as beyond since its formation in 2007 and has made a name for itself especially in prog as well as groove metal. The quartet is ready for the huge crowds and big festival stages like Wacken or Summer Breeze. The first step for this, they have recently signed with the record label ACFM which is also the subject of her current work "Laissez Faire, Lucifer!" appears.
Also their latest work remains true to the typical, appreciated by the fans, Sober Truth Style faithful. Harmonious, dynamic and every single note coordinated with each other. Behind all this is a thoughtful and profound concept, in which the band has put a lot of heart and passion. As already on albums like "Psychosis" and "Outta Hell" underpinned the for Sober Truth unmistakable sound also the new album.
"Laissez Faire, Lucifer!" describes a long, arduous journey to hell and back. Sober Truth deal with their own existence, the dichotomy in which we find ourselves in various life situations and the attempt to realize ourselves. In a total of twelve songs, the band invites you to dive into this dark world. Especially successful is the combination of German as well as English lyrics, which in our opinion is a very original feature that the band should definitely keep. Also, the alternation between the melodic, energetic and the quieter parts, in which almost only the rough voice of singer Torsten is a real highlight on the new disc and gives us goose bumps every time.
Sober Truth have created with their new album a complete work that you really like to listen to and also reluctantly put aside. We recommend you to get the work in any case also in the haptic version - It's worth it!
