Asking Alexandria announce new album "See What's On The Inside" for Oct. 1
Asking Alexandria have announced the release of their new studio album See What's On The Inside announced for October 01, 2021. Already in June, the British band announced that they had signed a new worldwide contract with Better Noise Music. The new album is now available for pre-order.
The band celebrates today's album announcement with the release of their new single Alone Again, a puristic and emotional rock anthem whose lyrical focus is on self-reflection. The song was co-written by all five band members and provides a fitting foretaste of the upcoming album. Fired by creative energy are Asking Alexandria closer together than ever before and have worked together during the recording See What's On The Inside rediscovered their love of songwriting and making music together. Ben Bruce, founding member and lead guitarist comments: "Alone Again and the rest of this album are the result of us getting back together and falling in love with why we started this band in the first place. No frills or cheap tricks, just the five of us playing our instruments as hard and loud as we can! At some point in life we all feel lost and don't know who we are and who we want to be, and I think this song will unite us all in that sense. We are very excited to share not only this new song with you all, but also our new album. We went back to our roots as musicians and wanted to reignite the passion and love for rock and metal music. Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Aerosmith, AC/DC.... - all the greats we fell in love with as kids have heavily influenced this new album and we couldn't be more excited about it.”
While Asking Alexandria prepare for their new work to see the light of day and present themselves as a creative collective with a new sense of clarity and purpose, there will also soon be a reunion with their fans on tour. Earlier this month it was announced that they would be A Day To Remember on their upcoming "Re-Entry Tour" will accompany in US. The tour will begin on September 28.
