Bastille release new single "Quarter Past Midnight"
After their 2016 album "Wild World" , Bastille their fans only the title song to the Netflix-Thriller "Bright" begrudged. But the wait has come to an end, because today we are reporting Bastille back and release their new single "Quarter Past Midnight".
Bastille frontman Dan Smith via "Quarter Past Midnight": "It's about that moment at night when some people go home and for others the night is just beginning. It's like a swinging door. You can disappear into the night much more quickly. Places that are closed during the day open and what you associate with reality and work is closed. There exists a parallel universe."
Fans can also look forward to a new album, as "Quarter Past Midnight" is the official harbinger for the upcoming, third work of the Brits, who already have over 15 million singles and 6 million albums have sold. Like the first two albums, it was recorded in the band's own small studio over a period of five months. "Our debut was made over a period of time, the second album we actually never finished and kept going, so now it was very strange to stop and focus on one thing and live a normal life in London."
