Black Label Society present "Grimmest Hits".

Hi and welcome to Lila's review!

Black Label Society stands for two decades of finest metal. In this time, the guys have built a broad and especially loyal fan base, which goes with your band for all the years through thick and thin. In their twenty-year career, the troupe has released a total of 9 albums and with your 10th album "Grimmest Hits" thanks Black Label Society to your fans for all the loyal years with a true masterpiece.

Since our editorial staff is a big fan of the guys, we were thrilled to get the great honor to preview the new disc (Thanks, Yassi!). We are sure that you, just like us, will be thrilled by the disc and why we think so, we do not want to withhold from you of course.

"Grimmest Hits" is a very successful mixture of powerful, primal metal paired with the best pure rock. With this foundation and the typical Black Label Society Sound, the new disc (filled with 12 Hammer tracks) will "see the light of day" on January 19.

Our absolute highlight (and the editors agreed on this) is definitely the track "All That Shined Once". Right at the beginning of the song, missed Zakks striking and rough voice, one such goose bumps that you forget everything around you first and the feeling spreads as if time had stood still. The both rocky and at the same time trance-like mood, which the track can come up makes the part to what really special. But what am I talking big about it if you can convince yourself.....

Our conclusion: "Grimmest Hits" is an album that you should not miss and exactly for this reason it comes with us in the category "Must-Hear". Absolutely recommended! Also live, the guys are an absolute experience and should be Black Label Society If you are ever in your area, we advise you to go there....... We will definitely keep it in mind! All tour dates can be found as usual: here.
