Our concert report on the

BlattTurbo band night

My Immortals.. Welcome to BEHIND THE NOISE!

The fourth Leaf turbo Band evening also heralded the 5th birthday of the Leaf turbo Magazine and of course we couldn't miss it. Arrived at the location we met right at the entrance on Otte who, together with the guys from Pressure phase got us in the mood for the show. Relaxed and quite casual, the band told us a little about themselves, their music and what's going on with them right now. The start of the fourth band evening was made by Exariona young band based in trash metal with a lot of potential. From the beginning, the guys put in a lot of effort and got the audience in the mood for a really successful evening, which as an opener always turns out to be a "mammoth task". The self-proclaimed "Wrecking Contractor" delivered a really strong sound, which

they performed with an unwavering energy. Even if every now and then the microphone didn't want to play along, it didn't detract from their performance in any way. Especially their song "Nuke'em Down" really took us away and we will surely tell you more about Exarion in the future. The second band to play was the guys from Pressure phasewhich we had the pleasure to get to know before. The three guys from Cologne you notice directly that music is your passion. Alternative Metal with German lyrics you do not hear too often and Pressure phase combines both so well that there is a real danger of addiction to it. From the first second the guys impressed not only musically, but also with an enormous stage presence. We especially liked the awakener "Fire", a very dynamic piece, which is not only fun, but due to its socially critical lyrics

at the same time makes you think. Surely we will Pressure phase at one of your next performances and advise you my Immortals to do the same. As the third in the bunch then rang Zero agenda the punky part of the evening. Originating from Bonn, the band is characterized by an unconventional, freedom-loving sound. Zero agenda is natural, does its own thing and does not let itself be bent, which again we like very much. The band delivered a strong live performance, which they combined with a lot of wit. Zero agenda convinced us not only with a hefty sound, but especially with their lyrics. Especially songs like "Alternative for Germany or "Daytime Trot" have taken us along with them, as they deal with contemporary issues that certainly many

of us can identify. We definitely advise you to see Null Agenda live. As it is, such evenings unfortunately always end much too quickly and so rang Angel Grove the finale that evening. Last we had Angel Grove at Escalate Festival and were curious to see how the guys had done since then. Also this time we were not disappointed. With a lot of passion connects Angel Groove powerful tones with solid guitar riffs and gives you every time the feeling that you would stand in the middle of the skate park with the board in your hand and a beer to your lips. The three-piece band convinces us more and more every time and we are sure that we will hear a lot more from the guys. The band convinced us especially with their song "Sex On The Beach"which we can highly recommend to you.

Angel Grove have duly ended the evening and we are looking forward not only to the next band evening, but especially to the next Escalate Festivalthat is coming up again soon. The fourth band evening with four first-class performances a really successful evening but Otte would probably not be Ottewhen he celebrates the fifth birthday of Leaf turbo would not still provide for a completely special surprise and thus he did not take it to enter times briefly hand the stage, in order to with Angel Grove together the Pants Classic "Until The Bitter End" to perform. It took what felt like five seconds for the whole hall to join in, thus ensuring a fitting end to a successful evening. Of course we captured such a moment on video, which you can watch above.
