Chiefland release long-awaited album "Wildflowers

Hi and welcome to Lila's review!

Loud, honest and wild. My Immortals, we recently introduced you to our four heroes from Chiefland and her new single "Northbound" presented. Now, there are supplies in the form of a new album.

The good piece is titled "Wildflowers" and delivers hard sounds together with good mood directly into the living room. Booming boxes, Chiefland and a sound that stays in your head. What more could you want? The twelve songs of the disc offer a comprehensive post-hardcore adventure with all its rough edges. At the same time Chiefland The band doesn't change their sound, but adds an original touch to it, which makes the album all the more interesting. We are talking about the interplay between vocal and spoken phases. In our opinion, the band masters this to perfection. "Wildflowers" sounds natural and encourages the listener to self-reflection. For us definitely our "Album of the Month"!

With "Unison" , Chiefland created a song that we like to call our highlight on the disc. Starting with a striking guitar solo, the band increases from passage to passage and finally lets it all out in the chorus. It creates a very melancholic and gloomy atmosphere, which harmonizes very well with the sound of the band. A song that we can only recommend to you.

Our magazine has "Wildflower" perceived as an album with its own character and is really excited about it. If you are not convinced yet, here the music video to "Cathedrals":
