CORY MARKS unveils second album 'Sorry For Nothing' including new music video for title track - Live dates in EU / UK confirmed for 2025
“A lot of rock'n'roll, a lot of country - the young Cory Marks has fused the musical styles he grew up with to create his very own sound.”
Classic Rock
“On “Sorry For Nothing”, the good man once again mixes rock, country and a few metal building blocks into an immensely catchy mixture that hits the earworm gas pedal with the opener “Make My Country Rock”.”
SLAM Magazin
“CORY MARKS also combines the best of both worlds on his new album “Sorry For Nothing””

CORY MARKS, who has just completed an acoustic tour with multi-platinum band Theory of A Deadman, invites listeners to turn up the volume and celebrate the release of his second album SORRY FOR NOTHING with him. The album is released today via Better Noise Music along with the music video for the title track and is available digitally, on exclusive red vinyl, on CD and as an exclusive merch bundle from the BNM EU Label Store.
“‘Sorry For Nothing’ is one of my favorite songs on the album and hits home for me in a nostalgic way,” comments CORY. “Where I came from, what I’ve been through, and where I’m going. It’s for any small-town kid with a dream—and believe me, there will be roadblocks…but keep working towards it and be sorry for nothing!”

The new album is an explosive mix of 13 songs that are equal parts arena rock and roots country. The album is the follow-up to CORY's successful debut album “Who I Am”, which featured the hit single “Outlaws & Outsiders”. The song was the first ever US Top 10 rock radio single by a Canadian country act and went platinum in Canada and gold in the US.
Produced by his longtime collaborator Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Shania Twain, Papa Roach), as well as Kile Odell (Nita Strauss, David Draiman) and Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert), the tracks on “SORRY FOR NOTHING” range from Merle Haggard-esque country and virtual bluegrass to straightforward arena anthems and hard-hitting riffs. Guest appearances include Sully Erna from Godsmack, Travis Tritt and Mick Mars on the current single(Make My) Country Rock", which has made it into the top 10 of the rock radio charts in Germany. Also included is a feature with Bad Wolves singer DL on the song "Guilty".
“The record is really who I am” underlines CORY. “The title says it all. I love rock and I love country. I’ve always wanted to be part of something, but I pave my own lane, do what I want to do, try to bring people together. Whether you’re a rock fan, a metal fan or a country music fan, my mission is to reach anyone who feels a little different.”
“It’s a kick in the ass, the good, the bad and the ugly, the ups and downs of life, adding that little bit of fuel to the fire to keep you fighting and to keep your eye on the prize. There are songs for partying, songs to look back on life and have a good cry, love songs… something for everyone.”
CORY will be performing live in the EU & UK for the first time in March 2025. In addition to two headline shows in Hamburg and Cologne, two slots at the Country 2 Country Festival in Berlin have also been confirmed for Germany. All information about the tour dates can be found below.
