A weekend filled with 43 different bands from the metal and rock area.... That was the Euroblast Festival 2017. from 29.09 to 01.10 hundreds of visitors from all over the world came to Cologne to see the individual bands live. Among them also the guys about whom we will report today...... Devin Townsend Project! Devin Townsend Project is a permanent fixture in the metal sector and records alone on Facebook 200,000 followers. The solo project of the artist Devin Townsend has been on the market for a decade and has already played on various stages around the world. The five-member band released 8 records so far and won for their last album "Transcendence" the Juno Award in the category "Metal/ Hard Music Album Of The Year 2017".

Our studio was allowed to interview Devin personally and learned, among other things, which "idols" he has, what drives him to make music and the name of his first purchased album..... But check it out for yourself! Already at the first second Devin Townsend Project the masses really into it. The guys opened their performance with a firework of melodic and catchy sounds as well as a great stage presence. Through a lot of wit the atmosphere truly turned into a living room concert and it quickly became familiar between the band and the audience. Devin Townsend Project really gave everything, be it the performance or the interaction with the masses: such an evening could truly be called perfect.

In the course of the concert, again and again, we call it now "dolphin" similar sounds, which gave the visitors from themselves, which every year from Tech Fest at Euroblast and vice versa commuted. Exactly this indefinable and at the same time peculiar sounds integrated Devin with in one of his tracks.... Chapeau! In the luggage, songs that almost cracked the two hour mark, they created a clear stark conclusion on the Euroblast Festival and made us look closely at their tour dates. As a farewell, the band left small "sounvenirs" in the form of picks, drum sticks or gave the fans "half of the song line up" and then left the stage.My Immortals, we have the Devin Townsend Project I really liked this concert.
