Diamante presents new single "Had Enough" + music video #Sherockscampaign
BAM....! And welcome to Lila's News!
The power woman Diamante has once again released a new song. With "Had Enough" it goes into the next round and I can tell you, my Immortals, this song has potential! The original comes from the group Lower Than Atlantis and after some text shortening here and sound changing there, a buttkickin'ass track of the rock class came out, like we know it from Diamante are used to.
But, the new track is not only meant to sound beautiful, it also has a very specific message that it wants to bring to the masses. First of all, the music video for "Had Enough" a tribute to the fuck-off movie "Thelma & Louise" and was shot exclusively with women. Diamante says the following about her new song:
"I think especially in today's social climate, it's both important and powerful to be able to tell the world 'I've had enough, I'm pissed off, and it's time for change.“
The whole thing is at the same time also a part of the #Sherocks Campaignin which women and their music are in the foreground of the scene for a month. Instead of male colleagues gracing the covers of the magazines, it's now the women's turn to draw attention to the hard-fought success in the scene as women.
