A review of Emarosa's "131" album

Peace! And welcome to Lila's review!

"I don't mind where you're going. The remedy, remedy's the same." These two sentences introduce the new album 131 by the post-hardcore/metalcore band Emarosa.131? Is that some prefix for a pizzeria or perhaps the initiation code for the final apocalypse? We have checked with Emarosa and as soon as we get an answer we will let you know.

The album of the guys from Lexington / Kentucky is filled with 11 tracks. According to Bradley Walden, frontman of the band, who gave an interview on Warped Tour 2016, this album is filled with the stories they have experienced in recent years and therefore the best album they have made so far. In this case we have to agree with him, not only melodically but also lyrically they have improved and the last albums were in no way worse from our point of view.

The cover of the album bears an animal, just like the last album (Versus), but the young vixen has become an adult fox. In our opinion, you should definitely check out the album. It is ideally suited to escape from everyday life.
