My Immortals.. Welcome to BEHIND THE NOISE!

In Hearts Wake. Already for a long time we were the guys from In Hearts Wake and their music already graced some of our playlists on Studio Leptop. When the news reached us that the band was back on tour, we were even more pleased when we got a request from Denise, whether we wanted to see the guys, combined with a small live report, live.At this point: Thank you so much Denise! No sooner said than done. Our troop squeezed, on the day of the concert, into the car and drove off to Cologne to the building 9. Arrived there we were also already warmly welcomed by the manager Sam greeted and started our interview with singer Johnnywhich you can watch above. Through the loose and pretty cool way of Johnny the interview turned into a conversation between two acquaintances that we would like to repeat.

We had already positioned ourselves at the front of the stage when Up North started to play. The band itself is classified in the area of melodic hardcore and comes from Cologne. Although us Up North not previously encountered in this genre, it was already clear to us that we will visit the guys at one of their future concerts. The band's performance was characterized by an energetic performance and typical hardcore music. The still sluggish masses, which were still with their head in the everyday life, were Up Norths Sounds torn out and mighty heated up. A really cool show, which you should check out! After a short talk with singer Sebastian from Up Norththe next group was already on stage. Gideon. The guys are from Tuscaloosa in America and have been playing hardcore together for almost a decade.

At the concert, their performance turned out to be a real blast: the crowd immediately jumped to the hard sounds of the band and it didn't take long before the first ones started to pogo. The band put on a great performance, cheered on the masses and made for a really memorable concert, which we won't forget in a hurry! The crowd was now crowding in front of the stage and we did the same. Already after a few minutes it became dark for the first time stock until then also, the guys from In Hearts Wake came on stage and started to fill the place with their sounds. Loud, awesome sound and with a really good performance they carried away the masses. Every single song was characterized by the crowd's chanting along, thus also "Healer", in which the entire hall the passage:"Within, without, I know what it's about" sang along loudly.

The band certainly offered some highlights this evening, but this one, we want to highlight: The next track started when singer Jack called on the masses to form a walkway that stretched in front of the stage to the other end of the room. He then wanted to sail over the masses in a plastic boat to exchange the milk carton he had with him for a flag. No sooner said than done Jack singing in the small nutshell over the cheering spectators and felt his mission. At this, the crew did not miss the opportunity to play the appropriate soundtrack to this overseas voyage:"I will always love you" from Whitney Houston A really great idea - chapeau! You can watch the video in our gallery. The performance of In Hearts Wake will definitely remain in our studio's memory and we are already looking forward to paying the guys another visit!
