In the summer of 2019 germinated in the brothers. Jaxon (singer) and Andrew (guitar) had an idea that would change their lives. Previously, the guys were with their former metalcore band Cry Excess on the road and toured with greats like Papa Roach or Five Finger Death Punch through the world. The idea that emerged at that time was a new musical project, which the two started to find themselves. A short time later, this also got a name, Jax Diaries, and was replaced by Frankie (Bass), Nicola (drums) and Andrew Asso (guitar) complemented. The quartet was ready for the big stages and quickly released the first singles, among others also "Shine"which received 200,000 views on YouTube after just one week. Jax Diaries was on a good path, but fate, as so often, is unpredictable: Jaxon got into a serious biker accident in which he almost lost his left leg. Despite a two-month stay in the hospital, the band meanwhile continued to write and produce music. The result, of this difficult time, is now on their debut album "Riverside Motel" to hear.

"Riverside Motel" is a piece of alternative rock that reproduces a pure, uncouth sound. This striking authenticity, which is known from this genre, is combined with the most diverse influences, from rock, light hip-hop to pop, and results in Jax Diaries own mix. It is an album that takes up the challenges of recent times and addresses them in various songs. Jax Diaries present with this album a versatile work that leaves nothing out, from quiet, emotional songs to dynamic awakeners. The whole thing was recorded in the Heavy Tones Recordings Studio in Turin and produced by Kane Churkowho, among other things, has already worked with Ozzy Osbourne, In This Moment as well as many other artists together. About the origin tells the band:

"We found ourselves writing this album under strange circumstances, coming off a world pandemic and struggling through recovery after Jax's motorcycle accident, but we never stopped breathing this strange energy in the air, every single day, like something was lining up perfectly for us. For our future selves, 'Ruthlessly realistic' is what this album will be. That's it. We can't wait to show you what we have in store for you!".

Jax Diaries has skillfully fought its way back and delivers with "Riverside Motel" an album that underlines this once again. We can only warmly recommend you to listen to the record and make your own picture of it - it's worth it!
