Korn - Little man big
Hi and welcome to Lila's news!
Someone wise once said: "Keep on dreaming!". This saying has clearly proven true in our case:
12-year-old Tye Trujillo, son of Metallica's bassist, has made it. He is playing with Korn, one of THE nu-metals bands on the South America Tour which takes them through Brazil, Chile, Argentina and other countries. How did it happen? The bass player of the guys canceled the tour due to "unforeseen circumstances" and therefore cannot participate. Korn reacted quickly and organized a new bass player for these weeks: Tye Trujillo. Here again a statement of the band.
But the boys didn't choose this fellow for nothing: Tye has been playing in the band "The Helmets" since he was eight years old. Tye and his band don't play pop or rock, but heavy metal according to their own statement! But that's not all, because the talented kids have already shown their skills at festivals like Lollapalooza in Chile, Lollapalooza Kidsapalooza as well as Bottle Rock.
We are definitely looking forward to the tour that starts in three days!
