With thunder and heaviness: Make Them Suffer unleash their new album

From the far corners of the galaxy - I greet you in the name of Asgard!

Hi, it's Thor here.

There is one thing about metal that never ceases to amaze me: a sound that is both powerful and surprisingly flexible. A sound that hits you right in the face, while at every moment you have the feeling that the direction could easily shift without losing its intensity. A sound that lives, that breathes, that sweeps you away.

This is exactly what the new album by Make Them Suffer sounds like - a work that I couldn't pass up.

Make Them Suffer have contributed a lot to the scene since their formation in 2008 and have earned themselves a firm place in metalcore. Starting with their powerful debut Neverbloom they have constantly reinvented their sound and pushed the boundaries of the genre. Tracks like Erase Me, Hollowed Heart and Ether have long since become classics and have left their mark. Touring with the likes of Bury Tomorrow, Bring Me the Horizon and Parkway Drive , the band have built a live audience that appreciates their energy and dedication. And now - finally - they bring us their self-titled album, which contains the essence of all these years.

"Make Them Suffer"- an album title that lives up to its promise. It's all here: the raw anger and energy that you loved from their earlier songs, together with a musical force that resonates. The album is peppered with those punchy, melodic choruses that only Make Them Suffer can deliver with this level of intensity, and the songs have it all: contemporary themes merge with a sound that is constantly evolving. This is particularly tangible on Oscillator .

The band comments:

„Oscillator is more than just a song about screen addiction; it delves into the profound impact this addiction has on mental health. As we become more reliant on this constant source of stimulation, our baseline joy and excitement for life in general becomes lowered. I believe we are currently facing a mental health crisis, largely attributable to screen addiction.“

A song that makes it clear how deeply Make Them Suffer address the problems of our time and thus stimulate discussion. They pack the whole thing into their characteristic, intense metalcore sound, which experiments with electronic influences in some places and makes the hard breakdowns seem even more powerful. Mana God in particular demonstrates this impressively and is a track that is guaranteed to get any hall boiling live.

A conclusion? With their self-titled album, Make Them Suffer create a strong performance that perfectly combines the old and the new. So, turn up the sound and let yourself be carried away - the band shows how much metalcore still holds true today.

Until the next storm, stay strong and let the sound thunder -

Asgard listens to you!
