Parisian band ODC announce new single "I love the way you fall

Hi and welcome to Lila's news!

If, like us, you are always on the lookout for new music, you may have come across the name ODC came across. We recently received a message from the front woman Celia who asked us if we would like to listen to the band's music. Of course, we couldn't turn down such an offer, which is why we want to tell you about it today who ODC and what exciting things they have planned for May.

Having met in 2015, the Parisian band consisting of Raphael (guitar), Robin (Percussion), Sonny (bass) and of course Celia (singer) two years later. The meaning of the name ODC we were unable to find out during our initial research, but will be Celia ask about this and provide it later. One thing is clear in any case: ODC stands for the freedom to live out one's own personality in any way and conveys this message to the listener with every single phrase of their songs. The whole thing is supported by a mixture of classic rock and modern metal, which form the basic ingredients of their sound.

The band has already released an EP with the title "Ending The Boredom" and her single, which deals with the corona pandemic, "Orwell & I" to follow. Also a cover of the world-famous song "You Should See Me In A Crown" from Billie Eilish the band did not let themselves be deprived and created their very own ODC-version.

Following on from this, fans of the band can now look forward to a brand new single, which will be released on May 6th of this year. "I Love The Way You Fall" is a song that champions the modern woman and emphasizes her freedom to do what she wants. It's a song that moves between her distinctive sound and a modern pop-influenced melody and is characterized by the strong, smoky voice of Celia is rounded off to form a complete package. The release also includes a music video, which was filmed in Paris itself because, according to the band "Rock should be a part of today's urban culture."

ODC has left a lasting impression on us and convinced us across the board. You should definitely give the single, which will be released on May 6th, a listen!
