Pine Hill Records surprise with reissue of Urban Waste & Antidote classics

Hi and welcome to Lila's news!

The independent music label Pine Hill Records has set itself the task of not only reviving an old classic, but also publishing it in a new look and form. With Urban Wastes EP of the same name and Antidotes Disk "Thou Shalt Not Kill" from 1983, the label has selected two works that duly represent New York Hardcore (NYHC) and bring the hardcore punk sound of the early 80s into the 21st century.

For the first time, the two works are being released as a cassette set and can now be purchased by fans of the bands and the genre at Pine Hill Records can be ordered. These are available in two different colors, one is the "Urban Waste" EP with a white or black cover and the Antidote EP is available in a green or transparent cover. If you want a special color, you can specify this when ordering. Tino Valpa from Pine Hill Records tells about it:

"The way the re-releases came about was pretty simple. Both are bands I've always admired and I've always considered these two EP's to be top notch NYHC. Urban Waste have been close friends for almost a decade now. I've toured with them and booked them here in NH many times. Great friends.

Antidote... they came to my house and played the last show I had in my basement a couple years ago. It was by far the best show we had, and it couldn't have ended with a bigger bang. "Thou Shalt Not Kill" is one of my all-time favorite songs in hardcore history. Since we're already friends, it was just a quick discussion with the two guys and we decided to re-release it. It's the label's first ever cassette release and we're having a lot of fun with it. Came out a few days ago and ¾ of them are already gone. We're grateful for the response so far!"

Here you come to the Store.
