In just a fortnight, one of the most important weekends in the festival landscape in the Eifel begins. The Rock am Ring Festival is ready to welcome the festival crowd of 2024 to the Nürburgring and has already released some highlights that we have reported on. In addition to an exciting line-up, numerous activities and a successful warm-up party, we now give you an overview of the must-haves and to-dos of this year's Rock am Ring Festival.
Merchandise
Opinions are always divided when it comes to merchandise, whether it's the design, the price or the artist themselves. This year, too, there will be merchandise for every festival fan at designated locations.
Rock am Ring itself has already released the first clues and new merchandise designs, which were not only designed by the festival itself, but also by visitors. A "Community T-Shirt Design Contest" was organized, in which fans could send in their own creative suggestions for this year's festival shirt. With just under 55% of the votes, one creative designer won and his shirt will be available on site in two weeks' time. Here the link to the instagram post..
T-shirts have also been designed with other creators such as Sturmwaffel (Instagram) , which you can also buy in their online-store . All organic, i.e. made from organic fibers.
LIDL Rock Store
That's right! The mecca of the food experience is back on site and sharing its products with visitors at original Lidl store prices. With slogans like "Rock Hard, Dream Soft in a sleeping bag" or "Really hardcore: With Cien Sun you rock safer", Lidl offers an all-round feel-good package right in their store. Have you forgotten something? You'll find it there.

Special moments and surprises
At the Rock am Ring Festival, you will not only discover culinary highlights from the vegetarian, vegan or meat cuisine, but also stalls from NGOs, associations and local greats. Our absolute highlight last year was the pizza stand right next to the Utopia stage. The question is, what will it be this year? I'm sure we'll have plenty to try out again.
By the way, there is another musical highlight that we don't want to leave unmentioned: Babymetal and Electric Callboy are playing on the same day, though on two different stages, but there's a good chance we'll see a crossover! Yesterday both bands released a real banger with "RATATATA", so this will most likely be played in a crossover. If you don't want to miss out on this opportunity, you should run straight over to the Mandora Stage after Electric Callboy's set to see Babymetal.
