My Immortals, is you Savage Hands a term? If not, then you should definitely read on, the Savage Hands not only shows the necessary potential to fill the concert halls of this world, but is also our insider tip for February. My Immortals, look forward to their debut album "The Truth In Your Eyes".
Founded almost two years ago in far-away Maryland, USA, the band represents a mature and authentic sound despite its fresh band history. At home in metalcore, they combine various elements of post-hardcore and alternative, creating a modern sound that definitely makes you want more. From clear guttural vocal parts to melodic, spherical guitar riffs, the guys distinguish themselves through a comprehensive sound universe, which is especially evident on their new disc.
With their latest album "The Truth In Your Eyes"the up-and-coming band presents its most expressive work to date. In a total of twelve songs, they address personal experiences, talk about depression and loss, and declare war on their own demons. Savage Hands takes you on an intense journey that leads through hell and back again. "The Truth in Your Eyes" reflects a diverse as well as emotional sound that goes through marrow and bone. From the loud opener "Memory" up to the melodious "Never Change" the band sets with this work the starting signal for a newly dawned decade, in which they play perhaps very high. About the album itself, singer tells Mike following:
"We worked really hard on trying to create memorable moments in each song. The lyrics and melodies were main focus. It was about doing something a little different. All of the stories on the record point towards truth and lies. If you look at someone, their eyes will often reveal the truth, even if they don't say it. We tried to take some risks and really just strive to be us".
The whole thing was recorded at singer Mike at home, for which they specially set up a studio at his place. They got support from the producer Andrew Bayliswhich among other things with My Enemies & I and Sylar already worked together and now also with Savage Hands.
Your latest work "The Truth In Your Eyes" is a disc that definitely should not be missing in your home CD shelf and gets a buy recommendation from us. Our "Album Of The Month" for February!
