The Rolling Stones unveil long-awaited new album "Blue & Lonesome".

On December 2, 2016, The Rolling Stones will release their brand new album "Blue & Lonesome". This is their first studio release in over 10 years. On the longplayer, recorded in just three days in London, the band returns to its roots and dedicates itself to the blues - the genre that has always represented the foundation and core of their work.

The media are also enthusiastic about the new work. Here is a small excerpt:

"With 'Blue & Lonesome' they have done the genre a historic service." - CLASSIC ROCK

No overdubs, no pretension: The Stones bow with aplomb. (...) Jagger's commanding harmonica ennobles every track on this tribute to the old heroes, recorded live (...) within three days." - ROLLING STONEs

"This is what the Rolling Stones have been waiting for for many years: a hard, loud, grating blues album, reduced in the choice of means and yet also opulent in its force. (...) The Rolling Stones are far from being at the end, but start all over again. And they do it with one of the best quality albums they've ever made." - ECLIPSED

"With their current album 'Blue & Lonesome' Mick Jagger & Co. have now finally made the ultimate turn into the very own Stone Age. On offer: a sack full of chocolates, unhewn, raw, already after the first song available in advance (...) joyfully welcomed and celebrated by fan factions worldwide. And the whole package? Um-wonderful!!!" - GOOD TIMES

"(...) whether the Molotov cocktails of yesteryear still ignite? And how. The songs on 'Blue & Lonesome' rock - and from the deepest part of your stomach." - DIE ZEIT

"Blue & Lonesome" will be released on December 2 as CD, digital download, double LP and as deluxe edition including CD, 75-page book about the making of the LP plus postcard prints of the band.
