Tropic Gold unleash thunder with new EP “Sick To Death Of Everything”
On behalf of Asgard, I greet you!
Hi, it's Thor here.
British band Tropic Gold are back with their new EP “Sick To Death Of Everything” - an explosive mix of alternative, metal, pop and electronic that knows no bounds. Eight songs and an intro, forged with precision, like a warrior's blade, with playing times of between one and three minutes. Short? Yes. Ineffective? Quite the opposite!
Tropic Gold are masters at captivating their listeners: Brutal breakdowns that strike with unbridled force like a hammer blow from Thor, and a vocal performance from Jacob Parris that fluctuates between angry screams and haunting clean vocals. This dynamic gives the songs an emotional depth that blends seamlessly with the driving riffs of Joshua Lee and the thundering drums of Amy Barnett.
Although the tracks are compact, they don't lose any of their intensity for a second. The guitars create a dark atmosphere, while the drums stand out in the bridges - a nerve-wracking build-up to the lurking breakdowns, which then strike with full force. Tropic Gold have found the perfect balance of heaviness and melody, complemented by modern electronic elements that add an extra dimension to the sound.
With “Sick To Death Of Everything”, Tropic Gold deliver an energetic record that proves their versatility and flair for captivating songwriting. Anyone looking for a mixture of raw aggression, cinematic drama and modern metal sounds will find what they're looking for here in the sonic halls of Asgard. An absolute must for fans of BMTH, I Prevail and co.
Listen in - or face the storm! And always remember:
