Mighty Oaks with new tour dates in autumn + April dates almost completely sold out

Even before "Dreamers", the second album of the indie-folk buddies Mighty Oaks, was released last Friday, almost all venues of the upcoming German tour announced: 'sold out'. Only fans in Leipzig can rejoice - there are still a few remaining tickets for the concert in the Felsenkeller. But also Berliners, Hamburgers and Cologneers who have been left empty-handed so far can breathe a sigh of relief: the band now announced three new dates for November.

In 2010 Ian, Craig and Claudio released their first EP "Driftwood Seat" via Soundcloud, which was recorded in Claudio's living room. Since then, a lot has happened: the EP already brought them over 400,000 plays, the following self-released studio EP "Just One Day" reached #17 in the iTunes charts and the title track became a successful door opener for the band. The debut album "Howl" including the uber-hit "Brother" then entered the Top10 in 2014 from a standing start and finally ensured that Mighty Oaks could establish themselves as a permanent fixture in the local music landscape. Countless festival appearances, a sold-out European tour and support slots for genre greats like Kings of Leon followed.

Andrew Saunderson, filmmaker and friend of the band, has accompanied the trio in this rapid development. The result is a great documentary, which you can see here.
