Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes surprise not only with the release of a new single, but also with the announcement of a new album and a subsequent tour at the beginning of next year. A strong announcement that may please fans all the more.
Here is an overview of what you should not miss!
This week Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes released their new single "Man of the Hour" and at the same time presented a fitting music video for it. In their new song you get to hear a somewhat calmer side of the band, which changes away from loud punk to anthemic rock. It's a sound that you don't directly associate with the band, but clearly highlights their multifaceted nature and once again shows what they are capable of. About their new single, Frank tells:
"We talk about how rock and roll will never die, but we never really talk about how maybe the idea of the rock star should die. The whole concept and what it means has always been this glamorised moment, but ultimately when I put that suit on, it didn’t go very well for me. I'm just witnessing the world change so quickly and I’m still trying to come to terms with who I am and what the authentic version of me is. By giving people what I thought they wanted I think I got further and further away from who I actually am."
This unexpected musical development definitely makes you curious about their upcoming album, "Dark Rainbow, which will be released on January 26, 2024. The band has not shared much information so far, but hopefully we will learn more soon. In any case, it remains mysterious on social media where Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have already posted small insights into their new album. Among other things, there will be different colored vinyls as well as cassettes that you can already pre-order.
To the release of the new album starts about two weeks later their world tour through the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. Also in Germany there will be two stops with Berlin and Cologne, which we suggest you not to miss. You can get to the tickets here.
