Nothing More veröffentlichen neues Album „The Stories We Tell Ourselves“
Heya and welcome to Lila's review!
"What an album!" - Already in two days, on September 15. Nothing More They will release their new album "The Stories We Tell Ourselves" and since we had the great honor to listen to the new album of the guys in advance, we can already tell you that the thing is simply awesome.
Of course, we don't want to withhold from you why this is the case:
Already in the spring of last year, the guys started writing songs for the new disc. The album was produced and recorded partly in private studios and one may hardly believe it on the tour bus. Here the guys created a really cool mixture, which ranges from the hard sounds of progressive metal to softer pop-rock tones as in the song "Just Say When".
One thing I can assure you my Immortals: This album takes you on a trip that you will not forget so quickly. Besides "Let'em Burn" a song which just won't let us go and gave us a huge earworm, there are 17 more tracks on the album (12 songs in total) and with "Go To War" a song which can be heard in the trailer of the new "Planet of the Apes" the guys have created something really "epic".
Here is the link to the trailer of Planets Of Apes: Survival
On the red background of the album stands centrally a white person, whose eyes are held closed by another (behind) person in black. Above it is the name of the band and the album.
The title of the album explains Jonny Hawkin as follows:
"Many times, there is a disconnect between the stories we tell ourselves about reality and reality itself. That disconnect is a void where suffering and self-frustration often enter our lives."
If you don't want to miss Nothing More If you want to see them live, you can do so from November on at one of their concerts in Germany. The exact dates you will find as usual at our Tourdates. We are already looking forward to visit the guys in Cologne and of course there will be a live report about the concert for all those who can't make it to the concert.
An interview with the guys, with questions about the new album and some more we will publish soon so stay tuned!
Ps: The plate is in our opinion an absolute must and should not be missing in any plate / CD shelf. Absolute purchase recommendation on our part.
